The meaning of the name
KUMANI comes from two words. KU comes from the Japanese 組 (kumi): “group, gathering, people working side by side.” MANI is the oldest Italian word for work: the hands that build, help, create.
KUMANI means “hands together”: because anyone working alone needs extra hands, and a community willing to lend them.
At the heart of Kumani there have never been algorithms, compensation plans or promises. There are people.
Our story
Empty hands
For years we lived alongside extraordinary people: salespeople, consultants, networkers, artisans of their own business. People with big hearts and an empty toolbox. Around them, a market selling dreams: promised cars, yachts in photographs, courses worth thousands of euros, and seven different paid apps to do what should be done in one place. Hands held out to promise. Never a hand held out to help.
The realisation
Then one evening, late, we watched a colleague redo the same flyer by hand for the third time, and reply to the twentieth WhatsApp message by copying and pasting the same words again. And in that moment came the question that changed everything: “This person doesn't need promises. She needs hands.”
A hand to hold her QR code. One to keep her diary. One to write her quote. One to collect her reviews. One to tell her, when she's exhausted: close your eyes and breathe.

That's how KUMANI was born: not a company that sells dreams, but a community that lends hands. One place, every tool.
